you can’t buy your way into prosperity. and you reward the people who carry the water instead of drink it. and sadly, we all know the purpose behind the porkulus bill, we have debated it a lot on this site.

While you are busy drinking tea and twittering away, we are doing real things in the country like helping the poor, ensuring the old have health care, taking care of people who are losing their homes or are homeless, and rebuilding the inner cities of this country.
I am laughing here as I come back from clicking on the Michele Malkens link. What, there were maybe 25 people protesting at one of the cities listed? Write a post when you have 25,000 protesting.

This kind of approach may be noble but it’s not going to change things. As long as the republicans are the minority there is little that can be done. We will see bill after bill after bill after Supreme Court Justices, rammed down our throats as long as the Socialists are in power. What needs to happen is for us to take back control (by running winsome candidates) or at least radically tighten their grip of congress by the 2012 elections.
And Asia are you just an old hippy? Or some young spawn of old hippies? Geez where did you get that name or did you give it to yourself? Your idealism of what will be happening under the stimulus bill is ridiculous and driven by the significant amounts of koolaid you have obviously ingested.

$15 million for historic preservation at historically black colleges and universities
$5.5 billion for federal buildings

If there’s ever going to be a revolt in the country, it’ll be over excessive taxes, and it will come from all cross-sections of the population. The gov’t simply can’t keep taking more and more, one day the last thread will break and people will be carrying torches and pitchforks.

I LOVE THE TEA PARTIES! Liberals have turned into these bigotted, hateful PC people. They hate America and what it stands for. They blame Republicans for everything.
