being a ditto-head just got a whole lot more fun.
i haven’t always been one though. i used to listen to rush for a few minutes and then get so annoyed at his bombastic hotair that i had to turn him off. but then i grew up and understood more about his teaching style. i began listening to him to learn more and more about the PRINCIPLES of conservatism and how they really are principles to live by, to govern by.
and now, the uber-successful conservative radio talk show talent rush limbaugh, is arguably The One’s greatest nightmare. he was slated to speak for 20 minutes saturday night at CPAC, the conservative political action conference, in DC this weekend. rush spoke for an hour and half and even then, no one wanted him to stop.
except maybe the democrats.
oh and his speech at cpac? he didn’t use a teleprompter. his speech came from his core, where he really lives inside himself, his own personal belief system. obama can’t do that.
the resistance is alive.

Yea Pennie, I saw that about a 1/2 hour ago an figured some real resourceful lefty genious would get a woody and pounce on that.
It just goes to prove that were not a bunch of lobotomized lemmings/moonbats ( How bout that ? I made a hybrid liberal)who answer to one voice.
There is no infighting as most of the core values that conservatives hold have and will never change.
People like Steele and Rush simply remind us of what that should be in their own respective ways.
I have a funnt feeling that Rush and Steel have a lot more in comon with each other than they do with moonbats like you.
Then again, look at all the infighting there was whithin the dem party during the primaries, and you guys still won ? Right ?
So, doing the math, if this is what you call infighting them you’re almost guranteed to loose in 2012. Throw in about 4 trillion (not including interest) in failed policies and God knows if we’ll ever hear of a democratic party again

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Rush. I like what he says most of the time, but have never gone out of my way to listen to his show. This demonizing of him is a little much. PenniePan’s childish remarks are a good example of it.

First I would like an explanation of where Kate has been? If you want people to read you, you need to do something everyday. Didn’t someone explain that to you?
Next I love Republican infighting. Its always a lot of fun and eventually, they both get thrown out with the trash. Rush Limblob is a fat slob who looked like he had been snorting to me. He couldn’t leave his nose alone in that speech to the conservative group.
If you want Rush Limblob to be your defacto leader please be my guest. That is a sure sign of desparation and of a win for us in 2010, 2012. We like power so go ahead and follow Rush.

This is ridiculous commentary. Obama has said all he needs to and doesn’t need to address Rushbo anymore. He told the Republicans on the Hill - in private, knowing it would get out - not to listen to Rushbo. That triggered the present rush to lick Fatboy’s boots, which was all Obama needed to do.
Obama never says more than he has to, to get the effect he wants.
The sight of the GOP grovelling before Blowhard will make so much of the country sick … that I can’t even think of a metaphor gross enough to describe it. Anything Obama could say now would just weaken the effect.

Kay, I’m 51 years old, was addicted to booze, speed, heroin and coke til I was 35.
With 15 years of sobriety I’m now a sponsor of three addict/alcoholics, work at a treatment center, passed the state counseling exam and am a guest speaker on the circuit for NA and AA meetings.
The point is that snorting Vicodin burns like a bitch and sure as hell didn’t look like Rush had done either coke (as Kevin so ignorantly displayed) or Oxy. Oxycodone, contin and Hyrocodone are all opiates in the same family that pretty much do the same thing, “contin is time release and the one suitable for shooting up, the codones are best chewed for the rush and good for 4 to 6 hours.
Been to at least 3000 meetings.
Rush was addicted to pain killers as whole and enjoyed a variety of opiates, his addiction began with vicodin and move around to percoset, oxycodone and oxycontin.
Its pretty sad how the media has equated prescription painkiller addiction with recreational drug addiction. There is a moral difference between the two types of addicts. One is brought on by any host of issues where as in Rushs case he genuinely had pain.
So for all you cheap shot azzwipes out there who don’t know the difference and are pro pot just for the sake of a buzz…wise up.

There’s a huge push from the left right now to free up the votes that convicted felons are not allowed to cast. I’m actually in favor of this, I see no reason a man should not be able to vote once he’s paid his dues. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that its actually the left that promotes the lifestyle, who coddles the criminal and addict with enablement and justification more than that of the right.
After years and years of alcohol and drug addiction I realized holding a liberal mindset of “whoa is me”, its everyone’s else’s fault”, I’m entitled” etc is what was holding me back. Since I sobered up I was able to look back and realize WHAT A BUNCH OF MISERABLE F*CKS YOU ALL ARE !!!!

I enjoyed Rush Limbaugh’s speech. It was something I have been wanting to hear since the days of the campaign and eventual election of Obama. The first thing I noticed in his speech was how well he articulated the conservative view of America, the second was how few conservatives there are “out there” who can do the same without worrying they might “offend” someone.
Ken you seem like a nice principled young man. You need to listen to Rush Limbaugh. You would become a fan.
People in this room always like to holler racism. Here is one of the best part of Rush’s speech:

Okay, everyone who has been trying to make Rush look bad on this comments section is a coward. They attack things like his physical appearance, his scandalous news stories, and/or stereotypical images of “conservatives.” Those things are WAY too easy to attack and are cheaper than dirt! Get some real meat to throw on him, some legitimate concerns about his agenda and his view of reality or something before resorting to lame name-calling; in fact, it would be best just to give up the name-calling altogether. It’s just pathetic, immature and cowardly, and it does nothing but make the poster look like, well, an idiot! Just sayin’.
