it’s not really about rush

Date March 3, 2009

updated at the end of the post.

it doesn’t really surprise me that those on the left continue to vilify rush limbaugh, and by proxy all of us on the right. you will remember, it was rush himself who explained the left’s game plan after The One actually called him out just 4 days into his presidency. rush talked to us all about obama and his minions’ plan to feverishly implement saul alinsky tactics. remember this?

‘If I can be made to serve as a distraction, then there is that much less time debating the merits of the trillion dollar debacle.

One more thing, Byron. Your publication and website have documented Obama’s ties to the teachings of Saul Alinksy while he was community organizing in Chicago. Here is Rule 13 of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals:

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”‘

this would all be hilarious fodder for those of us on the right if times in our country were not so serious. and beating on rush limbaugh is nothing new. they have been doing that for 20 years and have not silenced him. those weak knee’d lukewarm members of the GOP need to remember that rush is so NOT the real target. we are - all of us; our country; are the true target of their marxist agenda and stalinist tactics.

the obama-thugs are not just after rush. they want to destroy the republican brand - especially it’s conservative core.

rush is their ‘target’ because he represents the real opposition to obama and his changes for our country. rush is the leading voice for those who are really standing up for america and it’s founding ideals and principles. there are too many of us who oppose obama but that opposition is anemic. are you aware that we are in a war for the very survival of those precious principles?

obama is trying to ‘change‘ or restructure america in the image of the central planners and social nihilists which includes the following:

a radical growth in government and consequent reduction in the private sector and individual liberty;

a radical relaxation in the war on terror and other national security imperatives;

a radical push to diminish american sovereignty in favor of global entities on environmental matters and in deference to united nations mandates on such distinctly internal matters as how parents raise their children;

a radical empowerment of labor unions;

a radical boost to the radical pro-abortion industry and death culture;

a radical homosexual agenda, and;

ultimately, the abject bankruptcy of our dear country as we know it.

obama’s radical agenda only suceeds if they silence the opposition. you get that right? to liberals, this isn’t just about Rush – not even close. it’s about you, me and anyone else who loves and defends our constitution, our family values, our faith — the things that make america the most wonderful of countries.

instead of sending me hate emails, decide you where you stand. direct your outrage not at me and this ‘nothing blog’ but at those who would use the full power of government to target and attempt to destroy private citizens just like you - whether it’s rush, bristol palin, or joe the plumber.

and if that doesn’t work for you, just go to someone else’s blog. it’s still a free country.

    Sounds to me like you are raising unnecessary alarm bells as usual. Rush is a self-appointed conservative voice and is paid huge amounts of money to spout crap. You people drink it up like lapdogs. 1/2 of the country voted for Obama to change the country and that’s what he is doing. So freakin what if you don’t like it. Or your friends. Or Rush Limblob.

    Obama isn’t Satan. He is the President of this country. Quit disrespecting him. And quit trying to instill fear were there is none. Good thing no one reads this nothing blog. If you can’t handle aggressive arguments to your ridiculous postings then you need to find something else a lot more meaningful to do with your free time then have a blog.

    Unfortunaly, the liberals you addressed in this post just arent going to get it.
    I’m afraid its become an inbred home taught learned behavior developed over the last 8 years of BDS running rampant to the point its become bloodsprt without even caring about the outcome.
    Prime example would be the Iraq war and the desire on the left to see failure there.
    You had the looney left screaming for years that Iraq was a failure only to have one of the “leading voices” of the dem party, Harry Reid, seal the deal with his infamous brain fart “the war is lost”.
    Now what we see is retaliation upon Rush,our supposed leader, for saying he wants Obama to fail.
    Whats sick bout this is that failure in Iraq would be defined by the loss of troopers lives as we pack it up and leave a country to be ravaged by an extermination like the world has never seen.
    The failures these morons were wishing upon Bush would be defined in the cost of humans lives, the lives of our troopers fighting for the freedom of morons who want to relish in that kind of failure.
    If the body count got so high no one could stand it anymore and Bush did pack it up, liberals would be out dancing in the streets celebrating Bush’s failure before they showed any remorse over one dead soldier. They would of finally been able to take the relished joy of confirming the idiocy they’ve so long accused Bush having while the deaths of our soldiers would take a back seat to their hatred for the man.
    And then of course the ever predictable rhetoric designed to cover their a$$es would be ” Oh, oh, but we support the troops”.
    What a bunch of crap. The biggest definition of failure in war is the body count, and these bastards wanted failure, plain a simple, cut and dry (go smoke it) no two ways about it.
    I want Obama to fail in order top preserve what quality of life my son is entitle to under his inalienable rights. It no doubt will be costly to all of us in terms of quality of life, but it will not take the deaths of our soldiers and millions of innocent Iraqis to make our point that he has failed.
    I’m not hoping for a bunch of dead bodies to make my point.

    I’m afraid weve reached a point in our countrys history where saying that you want to reach across the aisle is simply for the sake of expediency and decorum with no substance whatsoever and that weve reached a point where it truly is “us against them”

    Well ya know what b*tches, bring it.
    I dont care what you call it, how you package it, whats going on is a total reverse to what has and will make our country great.
    Our country did not get to be the greatest on this planet by using the policies and methods that Obama is subjecting us to. These use of these policies and methods when looked back on in the history of any country have only failed, everytime.
    The cliches that if history is not studied it will repeat itself does not apply here.
    What we are looking at is man who knows his history very well and has seen what failures these policies always have been but is so arrogant, concieded and narcissistic that he actually thinks for the first time in the history of any civilized nation that has failed under these policies it wont happen to us.
    He will fail, the country, our kids and their kids will pay the price, but we will win in the long run.
    The numbers and the odds are on our side, we win more elections, always have.

    Not gonna happen.
    Go screw yourself, you cant bash Bush for 8 years and then turn around with an absolutely ridiculous request like that and at the same time look like you have any brains at all.

    “If you can’t handle aggressive arguments to your ridiculous postings then you need to find something else a lot more meaningful to do with your free time then have a blog”

    I have yet to see one coherent serious argument out of you, let alone aggressive.
    EVER.

    Wise up.
    We may not be able to strap on boots and go fight for our country in any conventional sense but we do what we do in the hopes that if we change just one mind ( yours not withstanding) it will be one more vote for conservatism at the polls.

    In my 3 years of doing this I’ve had about ten people come around to see things my way. If Kate and millions out there can pull this off that’s all that matters and most certainly not your f*ckin opinion of what Kate or any of us should do with our time.
    Kate inspires and brings good topics that need to be approached the table, you’re simply to f*ckin dumb to see that or to actually engage on any topic with some sense of clarity, as was represented in her last post where you asked where she had been while critiquing her frequency of posts.

    “First I would like an explanation of where Kate has been? If you want people to read you, you need to do something everyday. Didn’t someone explain that to you?”

    And yet, like a f*ckin idiot you cant even have your own blog to link us to, probably cuz you only write sh*t, as represented here when all you do is drop your little troll turd comments and then dig out

    Micky I have just one thing to say to you and though it’s symbolic, I hoping that you can wrap your retard brain around this and apply it to your stupid previous comments and this thread.

    Here’s a little-known fact: south of the Equator, a man’s left testicle hangs lower than the right one.

    Think hard about that one Micky.

    Oh and Marsha: your beautiful but quite dumb.

    I think this is hate, threats, and fearmongering at it’s very worst. It is subtle but it’s no mistaking it. You have responsibility to us as your readers. This is practically calling for violence against liberals and our president. Shame on you! You need to move away from blogging for a while.

    My dad is always giving me crap about listening to Rush, but he’s a big lib and the only thing he really knows about Rush is what the MSM tells him. I always challenge him to take a couple of weeks to just sit and listen to Rush. He’s not a demogog or an “entertainer” like Steele would have us believe. He is an honest to goodness Conservative who really believes in what he preaches. I don’t agree with everything he says, but many of his defenses of Reaganesque tax policy, abortion, the MSM, etc. are spot on. Rush also uses hyperbole and satire to make a point, namely that the MSM takes themselves way to serious and that they are essentially a “chattering class” that does no more then mimic each other.

    Libs are just jealous because they have no one that is even in the same universe as Rush on their side.

    Of course you think its hate and fearmongering, like Asia, anything that you disagree with is hate or fearmongering. Please don’t talk about “subtle” calls of violence and threats. The left were screaming and dancing to have Bush attacked or beheaded and people like you didn’t say a word, so please spare us your self righteous indignation act.

    As far as moving away from blogging. LOL!! When we care what you think, maybe we’ll consider it.

    Kevin, your last post proves my point without a doubt that you’re totally unworthy of any serious conversation.
    Until you can actually take me up on my offer to engage me is a serious intellectaul debate that renders some clarity to an issue you’ll continue to look like the dumb f*ck that you are.

    “your stupid previous comments and this thread.”

    Please tell me whats stupid. Do you have what it takes to actually elaborate on that, or is that just more of your troll droppings ?

    Kevin;
    “Here’s a little-known fact: south of the Equator, a man’s left testicle hangs lower than the right one.”

    Does that mean when you head south your left nut hangs over your left eye ?
    Dick head.

    I can only suppose that someone like you who envisions Barack Obama as “exotic” would be the type of person who performed this research all by himself ?
    Then we also have to take into consideration that maybe you really dont have any balls at all so you couldnt find this out on your own ? Then it makes sense that you’d have to run around looking at mens crotches to find this out.

    Remember Kevin…
    Just because your head comes to a point it doesnt mean you’re sharp.

    Well I think Rush is hilarious as hell. He makes politics fun especially when the news seems pretty bleak. Obama is scary as hell IMHO. Look at all the sweeping changes he’s made for being in the position for what? Less then 2 months.

    Shut up or stop blogging? What happened to freedom of speech?

    Katie threw about 3 of them out before and they’ve all come whining back like a horney husband on his wedding night. She also put up trash talking emails with their contact information and they whined they were getting death threats from all of us LMFAO! It’s their game. It’s easy to be tough sounding, ugly, mean, obnoxious shitheads when you do it from behind a keyboard.

    if i miss a day of blogging. the world will not come to an end. really. i actually have a life away from my blog. for those of you who do come and promote honest debate, i appreciate it a lot.

    if you need to express yourself in secret via my email box - and its ugly? - you do run the risk of having it published on this blog for everyone to read as per my blog rules because in the words of my president, george w. bush, i am the decider.

    Setting aside the blog infighting, I would like to respond to this comment from the post:

    “the obama-thugs are not just after rush. they want to destroy the republican brand - especially it’s conservative core.

    So? Our party system is one of win and lose. Bipartisanship is rare and it should be. I identify as a Democrat because they best illustrate my value system. You obviously with the GOP. I think “destroying the GOP brand” is dramatic but in essence true. One side must overpower the other to further their agenda. That is the old “elections have consequesnces” line. The conservative wing of the GOP is the most dangerous because it employs thought police to tell us what is right and wrong, basically going against our personal liberty.

    Rush may be entertaining and there is no doubt he is brillant, having been able to corner the market all these years in talk radio. He is whether people want him to be or not, the current face of opposition. He is very articulate on conservative principles but he also is a major liability. I personally love having him out there because he will fall and fall hard and publically which of course if good for our side.

    The GOP has not lead an effective opposition since Newt Gingrich. He too is articulate but very vulnerable to failure.

    This is an interesting piece though. I can appreciate the passion even though the fundamental premise is flawed and consequently a failure.

  15. micky said:

    “The conservative wing of the GOP is the most dangerous because it employs thought police to tell us what is right and wrong, basically going against our personal liberty.”

    Not really.
    I could make the same argument with even more conviction if I were to say this about liberals.
    The whole PC thing would be the best place to start. The liberal thought police are everywhere trying to remind us of what words and phrases constitute bad thought.
    If you say ‘Negro’ instead of ‘African American’, your thinking is flawed because you’re a racist.
    If you say ‘retarded’ instead of ‘mentally challenged’ you’re an insensitive heathen with no compassion.
    If you own a biker bar and you dont want to hire gays you’re thinking is flawed because you’re a homophobe who wont embrace diversity
    The left is famous for restricting individual thought in that it sets a presedence for all speech that would give indications to your type of thinking. If the speech is wrong, suggesting the thinking is wrong, they we will attempt to correct this by legislating what they think are proper morals and ethics.

    For example NBA star Tim Hardaway had to go to rehab last year for saying “faggot.
    And then theres the whole sexual harassment thing that moonbats and Militant feminists use to claim that a woman in the workplace is automatically a victim of sexual harassment if a man speaks to her off cue or looks at her with any duration hes automatically contemplating sex with her. As a result hes required to take sensitivity course with the whole intention of changing his thought process.

    So please at least be honest enough to admit that while both sides do have suggested modes of thought based on their values its actually the left that employs more tools and legislation to see that those thoughts get changed or restricted

  16. Shannon said:

    Poor moonbats, I agree with Ken, anything they don’t like or agree with is hate or fearmongering. I guess that’s why they daily assault the constitution. To them it’s full of hate and fearmongering. Rush is not only a conservative, he is a constitutionalist. You guys on the left should try reading it sometime. And just for kicks, you should listen to Rush for yourselves and not believe everything that dork Chris Matthews says about him.
