mob rule: ‘the brooks brothers brigade’

Date August 5, 2009

this is just astounding demagoguery from The One and his flying monkeys! again, average americans, using their 1st amendment right, are labeled right wing extremists albeit well dressed ones!

hey, middle-aged white people, mothers with strollers and toddlers in tow, senior citizens, average hardworking americans from every race! you are an unruly mob and the community organizer-in-chief with the help of his friends at the dnc are trying to silence you. watch this incredible vid:

dnc web ad ‘enough of the mob’

oooo. scary! are these people manufacturing their anger? are their protests phoney and organized? look at them for gosh sakes! the answer is no.

i recognize a liar when i see one. do you?

the community organizer telling obamabots to ‘get in their faces’

ok. so here’s the deal: a community organizer and his minions cannot start bitching when communities organize just because the organizing is against them.

frankly, The iOne should proud of us!

the american people are pushing back and this is getting fun all of a sudden. go to a townhall meeting near you this month (get online and find out the when and where’s) and have your questions prepared for your elected representative.

and lastly, to call this ‘mob rule’ or a ‘brooks brothers brigade’ is just more feckless insults and demagogery from a failing socialist administration and those who actually bought in to his hopechangery.

_____

update: it seems to me that some of you need to be educated on what ‘mob rule’ really looks like.

And can we please, please, please have just one day a week where we dont have to see or listen to Barry be on television ?
You can see it in his face, his actions, the needyness in his drive to push this crap thru. If he doesnt push health care thru hes ruined, and he knows it.

Hardly. This is not what PRESIDENT Obama meant when he talked about that. These people at the healthcare protests are just corporate-led teabaggers. That’s it. Bussed in, flown in, gathered together by insurance and/or pharma lobbyists.

I LOVE the DNC ad. Finally some hardball from them.

Even if these people are average Americans (though I tend to think it’s very organized myself), and they think they’re part of a real life populist movement such as the rightwinger “Tea Bagger Movement” it is still quite deceptive and sad because the freedom and autonomy they’re fighting for is the freedom and autonomy of corporations to make even more money off of THEM. They are just doing the devil’s work like angry, loud, pathetic little drones.

Got any feeds, videos or pics showing these folks getting off buses ?
Your president many times before has said exactly what he expected of his minions, and you guys are/were all to willing to comply by means of…

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
    And this;
“March 26, 2009 – When President Barack Hussein Obama campaigned for the White House, he promised he would establish a civilian security force that would be as fully-funded as the Department of Defense.”
“This bill creates a National Service Reserve Corps that allegedly is only for aiding in national disasters and other emergencies. It will use colleges and universities as bases of operation for training students to “serve” their communities.

    S. 3487 will use these volunteers to assist non-profits, faith-based groups and other civic organizations to improve “the capacity of such organizations.” In other words, to help liberal nonprofits to promote Obama’s social agenda.

And remember when he asked you moonbats and everyone else to declare your support for his “economic plan” ?
“Once you do we will ask you to build support in your own communities by forwarding this pledge by email, by knocking on doors, and by making phone calls.”

“By pledging and building support, you will be taking the first steps toward establishing a nationwide grassroots network, neighborhood by neighborhood.”

    Michelle even plays that game;

Michelle Obama’s Volunteer Force: Local Kids
    July 14, 2009 10:03 AM ET
    By Paul Bedard, Washington Whispers

Running the social side of the White House is hard work, especially because staff and space are so limited. But first lady Michelle Obama has found a willing volunteer force: local kids in after- school programs. First, she brought some in to help her tend her new garden, and now she’s recruiting them in the kitchen for major events like the recent staff and congressional picnics. When a request for help was made to Brainfood, a Washington program that uses cooking to teach life lessons, “it was the world’s shortest deliberation,” says Executive Director Paul Dahm. Shucking corn and dicing potatoes reinforced his Brainfood message. “When I tell these students to work hard and have high expectations for yourself, and then they go to the White House, it makes my job easier.”

You want talk about whos doing the organizing ?
The get some facts instead of actually thinking this cheap propaganda you’re spewing is going to do anything but make you look ridiculous.

    What a load of dung.
They just want what they’ve got and are happy with paying for, and dont want something inferior shoved down their throats. And pay taxes to have it done to others also.
Those who opt for the public plan are truly the ones who are fighting for the freedom (oxymoron?) and autonomy of the fed to make even more money off of them while stripping them of individual life saving choices.

“They are just doing the devil’s work like angry, loud, pathetic little drones.”

So, let me get this right.
The majority of Americas that likes its present coverage are all a bunch of angry drones ?
Next you’ll tell me that the insurance companies are paying the doctors to drug these people so they’ll act this way.

    Pfft.

Enough with the “selfish” bullsh*t already. It doesnt sell well when people who’ve paid into the system their whole life and who are worried about dying young and broke are called “selfish”
Like or not, they are part of the 85% that want to keep they’re plan that you selfish moonbats would have be a part of your clusterf***ed plan who caters to “selfish” people who think its their right to be entitled to have someone else pay for their bills.

“11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside… every positive has its negative.”

“12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”

The primary goal of the Socialized Healthcare bill is not the bill itself, although from his perspective that would have been nice too. The primary goal is the compromise bill. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. Don’t buy any of it, especially the compromise bill.

Isn’t it amazing, Micky? I seem to recall these trolls were trashing Kate, demanding to know why she didn’t put up a post on health care. Then when she does, they post the usual drivel and run off.

Some of these posts are hysterical. As for Jane and Jared, typical online trolls. As a former Liberal, I know the drill very well– out-shout as obstreperously as possible, shift the blame, cast aspersions, bully, belittle, and stifle the opposition by any means necessary. This is the Chicago way. The fear that ordinary people think America’s Affordable Health Choices Act House bill HR 3200 sucks, is driving Liberals to bring out whatever guns they’ve got in their arsenals. The funny thing is that the American people have verbal howitzers and are finally beginning to use them.

For you moonbats who have infected this blog, if you don’t like what she writes, leave. For your information, she also writes on other blogs AT THEIR REQUEST. I read her stuff in a number of different places. Now be respectful and STFU.

Sorry Kate. I get sick of their abuse.

  24. Jared said:

Kris yeah I’m kidding. Sarcasm, I drip with it. I actually think the seniors on these videos are pretty awesome. More power to them. Harp away!

Micky why don’t you worry about your own comments? It really is pathetic how you cry for attention from the liberals who frequent here when they won’t play with you.

And to the lovely Marsha: Kate is your FIEND? I am sure she will love that!

Emily: So you are now what? A Republican? A Conservative? A what? People love to say they are former Liberals yet they never have the courage to describe themselves today. Why is that Emily?

  25. micky said:

“Micky you become more pathetic if that’s possible with every post. Find something to do with yourself other then begging for people to talk to you.”

Well jane, unlike you, I actually come here to discusss/debate topics in hopes that theres an understanding that leads to some progress for our country. Or to show the opposition where they’re wrong in hopes their vote will change come 2012.
Whats pathetic is that I actually think a drive by moonbat turd dropper like you is even worth the effort.
    Same goes for you Jared.
All you and Jane are is a couple of little brats who go running thru the adults party saying stupid sh*t for attention. You asked for Kate to write on the subject and then when someone raises it, talks about it, all you do is the same stupid sh*t.
Its really sad that a pi$$ing contest with me is whats gotten the most attention out of you so far. You raise a question/argument, it gets answered or defeated and you dont return anything but the same regurgitated stupid insults you’ve used a million times on everyone else. Its not just me, its with everyone.
Its only obvious that you’re the one in need of attention because even when the situation demands you say something intelligent and you cant, you then out of desperation for attention say the first stupid thing that comes to your mind which is usually personal, or irrelevant, just like in this instance.
    Everytime.
You and your buddies couldnt argue a point if your life depended on it. Which means you’re either really dumb, or wrong and you know it so you just change subjects. I personally dont think you’re all smart enough to know when to change subjects. So where does that leave you guys. ?
So, what do you come here for ? To try and change a mind ? Argue a point so someone understands and sees it your way ? To promote a cause ? To show everyone what they could be like if they listened to you ? :-) (think about that)

“People love to say they are former Liberals yet they never have the courage to describe themselves today.”

I was a liberal probably longer than you’ve been alive, wanna try my courage on for size ?
It would be a little embarassing and painful to tell you the tale because I’d have to go thru all the reflections of what it was to be someone like you for about 20 years.
But I digress, doubt your attention span would let you get very far without attacking me personally. Besides that, I doubt you even have the slightest clue what the true ideology is behind being a liberal. I think you hang out with them just because its easier to get laid and get free stuff.

People are getting confused about who PHRMA is actually working with. The NY Times just confirmed that Obama cut a secret deal with PHRMA. So yes, PHRMA is providing transportation, but it’s lobbyists to the White House and the Senate (Obama is orchestrating it with Baucus).

    Hey Jared,

For the record, I’m an Independent.

I just happened upon this site earlier this evening, and appreciated Micky’s observations.

I was, in fact, a registered Democrat for twenty-five years. My mother served as a Democratic superdelegate during four presidential elections. How’s that for courage? I grew up in a well-to-do Liberal family, earned a doctorate from an Ivy League institution, became a college professor of business, and I loathe House bill 3200. So, go ahead, turn me into the “sounds fishy” Obama administration nark squad.

And yet your compeled to reply to me anyway.

“if this is a post on healthcare Ken then i am brad pitt”

Why dont you enlighten us on what a real post on health care would look like instead of your everyday predictable BS.
You could play the role of Benjamin Button very well. You get more childish with every day.
Health care is the crux of the issue. The reflection on how you hypocrites detest what you espouse unless its for your cause would be the sub issue.
Much like free speech. let it be free when it represents your position. But when we apply the same rights its called hate speech, or in this case “manufactured/mob rule”
Funny, on one hand you say the republican party is unorganized, dwindling, absolete. And then when we get together on an issue were a mob, thousands being bused in.

  30. micky said:

“go ahead, turn me into the “sounds fishy” Obama administration nark squad.”

Yeah, thats some spooky stuff Emily. Just when you thought you’d heard it all.

Jared, Gene, have you sent your fishy e mail to the white house yet ?
Better put on your brown shirts and get busy

  31. Ken said:

Jared and Gene illustrate the liberal mindset perfectly. Neither one of these two geniuses spoke a single word on the actual topic of the post, they just trashed people who disagree with them.

  32. Ken said:

“I personally get tired of the attacks on her.”

I know, I do too. Unfortunately for the libs, all they have are personal attacks. They cannot argue with reason, fact, or truth so they must attack those that do.

  33. Louise said:

Gene you seem to be a tragic figure.

Thanks Kate for a delightful read every day. It’s one of my regular stops each mornig when I get to work and though I may not comment often I do appreciate your wit, your intellect, and your perspective.

  34. micky said:

They don’t need to debate anything because their brand of democracy doesn’t demand everyone be heard. It only demands that those opposing voices be reported directly to the White House. Emily brought this up and I think its the start of a look into Obamas intentions on a whole nuther level.

Rep John Cornyn has already addressed this BS. (From Faultline)

“In a letter to President Obama, U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, expressed serious concern about the White House’s new program requesting Americans to forward email chains and other communications opposing the President’s health care policies. Sen. Cornyn is seeking assurances that the program is being carried out in a manner consistent with the First Amendment and America’s tradition of free speech and public discourse.”

“Sen. Cornyn’s letter also inquires about the collection of names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens that will be reported, which raises the specter of a data collection program.”

“I am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed ‘fishy’ or otherwise inimical to the White House’s political interests,” Sen. Cornyn wrote. “You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program. As Congress debates health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the exercise of free speech rights.”

Unbelievable. Now the brownshirts are gonna come a knocking if we do try to organize.
So not only does it raise question to the free speech issue, but under the same amendment the right to assemble id also going to hampered if the speech is “abridged”
So what happens with the info on those e mails that do get sent to the white house ? IP addresses, names and so will be collected. What possible reason other than data collection for further use could this be for ?
Offer me minimal medical services in the future because of my opposition in the past ? Get sent to a proctologist instead of an optometrist ?
This is practically war. We’ve got one section of America that’s very efficient at organizing that wants to stop the other from doing the same, because they know it works. And this time with so much going against them on this issue they fear that the opposition will grow in its own favor much the way the Obamanites did in 2008.
I think the only difference really is that much of the ones we see being so outspoken and the gatherings are the result of spontaneity and peoples conscience and not some huge single directive.
I realize this may be a whole nuther topic for another discussion but this kinda sh*t is even worse than if we end up with universal health care. Its only obvious what this guy wants to do. Didn’t he want the White House to handle the census ? Send out brownshirts to take pledges and simultaneously unknown to anyone actually be getting names and addresses of those not willing to make that pledge ? ?

I speak mainly of Israel. People speak of them as occupiers. They were attacked by 3 countries in a sneak attack and then proceeded to kick their butts in counter attacks. So, why should they not keep ALL of the territory they won in the war. That is how almost every border in the world has been shaped over the years. It will also give pause for thought of any country planning to attack that the world community will support the rights of a defending country to annex territory of any country that wages an unprovoked war.
