The best hotels in Mecca to book at a great price can be challenging. Mecca is one of the most respected properties in the world and as such is finding cheap hotels near Haram.
Overview of the Hyatt Regency Makkah Hotel
I stayed in Hyatt a few years ago and I really enjoyed my stay. You have to cross the road to the Al-Haram courtyard, but this is not a problem as you can see in the photo. During peak times they also close the road so there is no traffic when crossing.
Being in addition to Kaba and in a new development, it really is a five star property in Mecca. They have an executive lounge that gives you breakfast and snacks so you can save on food. Hyatt also has regular offers that you can get a discount on real estate.
And the prices are decent, and if you get the most you can find some great options for just £ 114 per night.

Conrad Hotel is located in Jabal Omar, a new property of a very high standard. I enjoyed my stay there and they accommodate large families with extra beds.
An executive lounge could be better and they also do not allow children under 12, which is not a viable option for many families. If you are Hilton Gold or Diamond you can enter for free and they will upgrade well.
The location is located 5 minutes from Haram with the elderly or children and you have to cross the road (shown in photo by Hyatt). That’s not a problem, but if you need a wheelchair you’ll have to climb to the top of the Hilton Suites, which is in the same development.
During the sale at the Hilton, you can find rooms for around £ 110 per night.

The Jabal Omar development also has a supermarket and food court plus five guys and several other outlets.
Room at Hilton Suites Makkah
Hilton Suites was one of the best hotels in Makkah in previous years before opening several new hotels. A few years ago I stayed at a hotel and I have to say that it really does wear off. I was expecting a little better service, but their breakfast and location are great.
However, the location is great as it is the first hotel in Jabal Omar Development, it is at the top of the road, so you can easily cross the street and it is only a 3 minute walk to Haram. The rooms also have a small kitchenette, which is great for families who have a budget and want to save some money by cooking some dishes. As the mall is located below the hotel, you can go to the supermarket to buy the essentials or the playground is just a few escalators.
Usually the prices of this property are higher because it offers a kitchenette and family rooms, but you can find them for less than £ 140 per night.
This hotel has a salon so you can enjoy this book.
You can book and check prices on the Hilton website, especially during sales.
I like the fact that many new facilities are being opened, this brings standard and competition to the hope that pilgrims will be better off. Prices have dropped and in most cases the quality of service and room has been increased, which is fantastic.
Unfortunately, the opening of new properties will not be in the Haram courtyard, as they are already built and operated by hotels, but good options are a little further and better value for money. I hope that in the coming years, some real estate in the backyard area, like the Intercontinental and the Makkah Hotel, will also be renovated.
When choosing a hotel, it is important to know your budget, needs and priorities. It is very easy to spend a hotel if in most cases you will not spend too much time there.
